Kristina Loudenback, Director

Kristina Loudenback, Director

I have been a nurse for 28 years, including a 10-year career in medical publishing. I earned my Associates in Science/Nursing degree from Joliet Junior College and my Bachelor’s degree in business management from National Louis University. My nursing background includes critical care, emergency, and office nursing, and most recently hospice. I am blessed to say that I love coming to work every day! I have a caring, dedicated team, and a group of residents who are truly a joy to know and care for. Originally from Lockport and Plainfield, IL, I have called Normal my home for seven years. Between my husband and me we have seven children, two grandchildren, two dogs, and one cat.

I have worked at Evergreen Village since 2013 and for Heritage Enterprises for 15 years prior to that.


I am from Colfax and before working at Evergreen, I worked 39 years at the long-term care facility in Colfax. I was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 16 years and Business Office Manager for the last 25 years. My favorite part of working at Evergreen is helping residents and families work through Medicaid and insurance issues.

I was originally born and raised in Peoria, IL. I‘ve resided in, beautiful, Normal, IL for over twenty years. I’m happily married with two adopted children from Russia and now have two lovely grandchildren!

 

My career has mostly been in restaurant & retail management, so I’m new at working with seniors, but after only four weeks, it feels like a great fit! Immediately, I could see the dedication, passion and care the staff members have for our residents. I am very thankful to be a member of the Evergreen Senior Living Team and a part of the Heritage Operations Group family who has created this culture over many years. My favorite part of coming in each day is talking with our resident’s, getting to know them more each day!

I have been with Heritage for 5 ½ years. I am EPA certified for HVAC.


I was born in Illinois but grew up in Iowa, then moved to Dallas for 25 years. I have been back in Illinois for 10 years now. The best part of my job is working with the seniors. They have so many interesting stories and are a joy to work with.

I have been with Evergreen Village since August of 2015. Most recently I was employed as the Assistant General Manager/ Kitchen Manager at Tony Roma’s in Bloomington. I have a Food Service Sanitation License, Basset Certification, and a certification from the corporate training program with Tony Roma’s. I am from central Illinois and this is my first time working in senior care. I have really enjoyed building relationships with the residents in my time with Evergreen. I have a beautiful wife of one year, Jennifer, and I am an avid sports fan.

I was born and raised in Paxton, Illinois and made my way to Bloomington-Normal to attend college. After receiving my Bachelors of Social Work degree at Illinois State University, as well as completing my year-long undergraduate internship at Evergreen Village, I was hired on as a full-time employee in May of 2014. I am grateful to be working with each and every resident here at Evergreen Village. It is hard to imagine my life without each one of them in it. I love to see their faces every day and to help bring community into the building. We have such an active group of residents and they make my job easy, I am very blessed.

I have been a nurse for 33 years, and many of those years have been spent working for Heritage Enterprises. My nursing career has been focused on caring for seniors. The first 26 years were spent working in a skilled nursing facility in my hometown. I transferred to Evergreen Village in November 2007. I love anything vintage including people. My best day at work is when I am able to interact with our residents. I enjoy listening to their life stories, helping them with their troubles and making them laugh. I grew up on a farm near Colfax. I am proud to say the farm has been in our family well over 100 years. My husband and I live in Bloomington.
