I have been with Castle Manor since 2016. I am responsible for ensuring the quality of care for our residents and the overall day to day operation of our wonderful community. My favorite part of my job is spending time with our residents and listening to their amazing stories and their wisdom. As a licensed nurse, I am also able to help care for and support residents in living a healthy and balanced life. In my free time I love to be outdoors camping, hiking, planting flowers or spending time with my two sons and Shih Tzu dogs. I am also a Healing Touch Practitioner and Holistic Life Coach. My passion is to help others find joy, happiness and live life to the fullest.

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Springfield with a Master’s of Human Services in Social Services Administration. While I was earning my degree, I held a Graduate Public Service Internship with the Illinois Department of Public Health. In my free time I enjoy various arts and craft activities, as well as traveling the world. Through elective gerontology courses, I found a passion for working with supportive living communities. I am very excited to meet new people and welcome them into our community at Castle Manor!

I believe my primary responsibility is to assure that the residents of Castle Manor have the best quality of life possible. Together with the team of caregivers, we care and meet the health needs of each individual resident. My favorite part of my job is having the honor of taking care of our residents. I love forming relationships! Caring for them inspires me everyday. In my spare time I love spending it with my husband, our two boys and their families. We have three grandchildren who are the apple of our eyes! We love to camp and spend time outdoors.

I am a Registered nurse and have been working in the healthcare field since 1998. I have a bachelors degree in nursing and also hold a bachelor's degree in business management from University of Phoenix where I am currently attending to obtain my masters degree in nursing. I reside in Lincoln.

I have worked at Castle Manor since 2010, starting as a certified nursing assistant and as the Life Enrichment Coordinator since 2013. I graduated from Pekin Community High School and now reside in Lincoln where I enjoy fishing, camping or anything outdoors. I love most of all learning about my residents and their past life adventures.

I began my career at Castle Manor in May 2016. My main focus is to keep Castle Manor up and running and maintaining all facets of our community. I enjoy helping with all residents when they join our family by getting them settled into their new home by hanging pictures, curtains or anything that makes them feel at home. In my spare time I enjoy my seven grandchildren, fishing, hunting and camping. I also enjoy always watching a good movie.

I began my career with Castle Manor in 2015 as a part time dining room server. I then began as Culinary Services Coordinator in December. Prior to working at Castle Manor I retired with 30 years of service from the State of Illinois, Department of Human Services. I oversee the daily operation of the Dining Room to ensure good customer service. My objective is to provide a clean and friendly environment for all residents to enjoy their meal time to the fullest. My favorite part of the job is developing relationships with our residents. I enjoy planning special meals and activities with them. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy reading, watching old movies and doing things around my home.

I have worked in healthcare for many years beginning as a dietary server then changing for several years to work in the banking field. I have found my way to Castle Manor working with all aspects of Human resources and maintaining resident trusts and well as working with financial situations that residents may have. Working in healthcare is a very fulfilling experience. I find it very rewarding getting closer to the residents and their families. Everyone is considered a family at Castle Manor.
