Evergreen Senior Living in Orland Park, Illinois

(708) 479-1082

Our History

Working together, Heritage Enterprises and Michuda Construction have brought a contemporary campus and compassionate senior care to Orland Park and the Chicagoland area.

In 1963, Bill Froelich, Craig Hart, Tom Jefferson and Herman Wellmerling opened the doors of the first Heritage Enterprises senior living community. Over the past 50 years, Heritage Enterprises has become a leader and innovator in senior healthcare. Heritage Enterprises has both owned and managed senior living communities across Illinois and into Indiana. The Heritage Enterprises legacy continues to thrive under CEO Ben Hart, son of founder Craig Hart. There are now 48 Heritage Enterprises homes across the state of Illinois and in Indiana.

From three generations before them, Mark and Josef Michuda have gleaned hands-on experience in the construction industry. Michuda Construction, founded in 1919 by their great-grandfather in Frankfort, Illinois, was first passed on to their grandfather, then father, and now into their capable hands. From carpentry tradesmen to constructing centers for education, commercial structures and into the healthcare industry, the Michuda family has an incredible depth of experience and innovation in construction. You can see their work throughout the Chicagoland area with projects like the East End Plaza and Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park.

With their shared history of innovation, common family heritage and desire to provide beautiful, functional communities that give seniors an excellent quality of life, it is no surprise that Heritage Enterprises and Michuda Construction would be a perfect combination.

Together, Michuda Construction and Heritage Enterprises have built a senior living campus in Orland Park that is second to none. Evergreen Senior Living represents the best of Michuda Construction’s healthcare industry expertise and Heritage Enterprises senior living know-how.

Michuda Construction and Heritage Enterprises strive toward a common goal; to reshape the idea of aging, with an emphasis on helping seniors live life to the fullest. Each is committed to supporting and maintaining the dignity, independence and wellness of each senior on the campus.
