Kristie Finney, Director
I have been the Director here at Evergreen Place since 2017. I am married and have a son and a daughter who keep me very busy outside of work. I have worked in long-term care since 2003 and have been a Business Office Manager, Community Relations Coordinator, and Regional Marketing Director and I absolutely love working with seniors. I am very blessed to be a part of this great team at Evergreen Place, serving the seniors in our community. I look forward to helping you and showing you all the wonderful services Supportive Living offers!
Kaitlan Gaworski, Community Relations Coordinator
A couple years ago I moved to Ottawa, where I currently reside on our family farm. We have a house full of animals that keep me very busy. I worked previously in jewelry sales for 11 years in my hometown of Freeport, IL. I enjoy getting to know new people and establishing a trusting relationship with them. I am so grateful for the many faces I get to meet through my position here at Evergreen Place. My favorite part of my job in learning all about our current and future residents and the lives they have lived.
Laura Nimke, Administrative Services Coordinator
I started in 2017 as the Life Enrichment Coordinator here at Evergreen Place. I loved bringing the “fun” to our residents here and getting to know each one of them on a personal level. I now enjoy helping our future residents with their transition to Evergreen as well as assisting our current residents with their business office needs. Outside of work, my daughter keeps me on my toes and pretty busy.
Daniel Danko, Building Services Coordinator
I am the Building Service Coordinator here at Evergreen Place. I have been married since 2019 and we spend a lot of our time outside of work working on things around our house. I really enjoy landscaping and yardwork and love having the opportunity to beautify Evergreen Place for our residents. I have lived in Streator my whole life and enjoy giving back to our community. I am Vice President for “Light Up Streator” and sit on the 4th of July committee, which also keep me very busy outside of work. I look forward to spending more time and helping our residents and getting to know them more.
Melinda Berry, Receptionist
I am the receptionist here at Evergreen Place. I have worked in the healthcare industry since 1996. I previously worked in the Emergency Department at the Center for Health here in Streator. My husband and daughter take up my time outside of work. I look forward to serving you in whatever way I can. My favorite part of my job is interacting with the residents and their families.
Wendy North, Life Enrichment Coordinator
I have worked for Evergreen Place in culinary since 2013. I have enjoyed my transition to Life Enrichment Coordinator. Planning activities for our residents is so much fun. Spending personal time with each resident is so rewarding and I love getting to know more and more about them each day. Outside of work my husband, 4 children and 7 grandchildren keep me very busy.
Allison Maubach, Wellness Coordinator
I come to Evergreen Place with over 33 years with the Heritage Operations family. I started my career with Heritage Health in dietary and since then have navigated through my nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse, a MDS Coordinator, an Assistant Nursing Director and now the Wellness Coordinator here at Evergreen Place. Outside of work I have two boys that keep me very busy running to and from various sporting events. I am excited to be continuing my career with Heritage Operations Group.
